About Me
Sharlet Lee Jensen, Speech-Language Pathologist
My aim is to provide client-centered interventions using both the science and art of speech therapy. I work with children ages 1-18 living in North Snohomish County who are impacted by difficulties speaking and understanding, as well as all ages of children and adults that struggle with reading. Balancing the targets of a normal developmental trajectory with the priorities and dreams of each child’s family, I aim to capitalize on each individual’s strengths and personal interests. I use a combination of structured, adult-led activities and a child-centric, flexible approach based on each individual’s developmental level and temperament, and incorporate therapy dogs into treatment to maximize motivation and calmness.

Let’s Get Started!
Located in the Smokey Point neighborhood of Arlington, Washington. Convenient access for families living in Arlington, Marysville, Lakewood, Stanwood, and Lake Stevens.
Step One
Call or email me so we can discuss your concerns, go over insurance coverage, and schedule an initial evaluation session.
Step Two
During the initial evaluation I’ll get to know your child through a combination of play-based activities, formal testing, and a more detailed history.
Step Three
We’ll schedule weekly appointments to address goals identified in the evaluation. Each session I try to provide families with homework ideas to keep the learning going all week.
